Policies and Procedures

The Academic Affairs Policy Manual covers the University’s academic policies and procedures. Relevant Board of Regents policy is included where appropriate. The authoritative source concerning Board-approved policies and procedures governing academic matters is the Board of Regents Policy Manual. In the event of conflict with the Academic Affairs Policy Manual, the Regents Policy Manual prevails.

Recruitment of faculty is key to the University’s future. Each appointment, with its subsequent tenure and promotion decisions, shapes the quality of the institution. The Office of Faculty Affairs maintains official University records relating to faculty and works with the Board of Regents to ensure faculty appointments, promotion and tenure are approved at the University System level.
