Faculty Affairs

Jayne L. Smith directs the Office of Faculty Affairs, which acts as a liaison between the University and the Board of Regents on matters related to faculty appointment, promotion and tenure. The office also manages policies and procedures related to faculty matters, faculty records, employment contracts, and other related responsibilities as assigned by the Provost.

The Office of Faculty Affairs submits University of Georgia faculty appointments and other related items to the President and/or University System of Georgia/Board of Regents for approval. The monthly submission of items for the agenda and approval reports are linked below.
