Provost’s Office Staff

Arnett C. Mace, Jr., was named senior vice president for academic
affairs and provost in March 2003, after holding the position on an
interim basis for five months. He previously had served as dean of
UGA's Warnell School of Forest Resources since 1991.

Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness and Extended Campus Educational Programs
Boehmer came to the Provost's Office in January 2002 as associate provost for institutional effectiveness from UGA's Terry College of Business. He previously directed UGA's 1999-2000 self-study. His responsibilities as associate provost include overseeing institutional accreditation, assessment, and research, and serving as senior administrator for academic programs at UGA's Gwinnett, Griffin and Tifton campuses.

Miller came to the Provost's Office in May 2003 from UGA’s Warnell School of Forest Resources. She is responsible for the fiscal affairs of
the Provost's Office, including support for budget development and financial administration of UGA’s schools, colleges and other units.

Sharron Hannon

Hannon came to the Provost’s Office in January 2001 from her former position as director of the UGA News Service in the Public Affairs Office. Her responsibilities include providing communications support for the Provost’s Office and various institutional initiatives.

Susan Landrum

Executive Assistant to the Provost

Landrum joined the Provost’s Office in June 2003 after 27 years with the University Libraries. Her responsibilities include drafting correspondence and position papers, providing staff support for administrative and faculty initiatives, coordinating the Charter Lectures and administrative workshops, and serving as liaison with committees/task forces appointed by the Provost's Office.
