  • PRSSA is a great way to get to know your future professional peers and get insight about working in the field of Public Relations.
  • Networking, networking, networking! Involvement in PRSSA provides tremendous networking opportunities with PR professionals.
  • As a member, you will have an exclusive first look at internship opportunities and job listings that are sent through the organization.
  • Portfolio Builders! Members have the opportunity to get published in PRSSA’s internal publication the PRecedent.
  • Creative Consultants (PRSSA’s award-winning student run firm) provides opportunities for real PR experience and is a resume builder.
  • Members will have the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes tour of some of Georgia’s most prestigious agencies.
  • Each year, several thousand dollars in scholarships and cash awards are offered exclusively to PRSSA members.
  • Members have the opportunity to attend the National PRSSA Conference and broaden their connections with peers and professionals nationwide.

How can I get involved?

Opportunities are endless! The easiest way to get involved is to attend meetings. By coming to meetings, you will hear advice from and make connections with professionals, and can talk to your peers about their experiences in PR. All members are encouraged to join a committee, come to socials and fundraisers, be on a Creative Consultants team, and attend PRofessional CONNECTION and Real World Atlanta.
