James Award: Jennifer Turkel For the outstanding senior major in Psychology. Judge Horace B. Russell Prize ($200): Lenae Stansky For the best written work in psychology. A. S. Edwards Award ($200): Arlo Clark-Foos Awarded to a graduate student of high scholastic ability, chosen by graduate students and faculty. Charles L. Darby Award ($200): Krisztina Varga In recognition of outstanding GTA teaching contributions in the department of Psychology. Outstanding Teaching Assistant Awards In recognition of outstanding GTA contributions in the psychology department. Undergraduate Teaching Awards: Janet Frick & Rich Suplita Awarded to the most outstanding faculty instructor as chosen by undergraduate students. Graduate Teaching Award: Nash Unsworth Awarded to the most outstanding faculty instructor as chosen by graduate students. Clinical Faculty Awards Mentorship Award: Ronald Blount This award recognizes the all-around training that a faculty may provide to any student, as a research supervisor, clinical supervisor, or in any other manner. Advancement of the Program Award: James MacKillop This award is to recognize a faculty member who contributes to the program in some special way, this may include in the program, department, University, or the psychological community in general (e.g., at ABCT or APA). Outstanding Contribution to the Tone of the Program: Anne Shaffer Awarded to a faculty member whose little extra touches help contribute to a more positive tone or environment in our program.  Herbert Zimmer Scholars ($100): For the recognition of outstanding research achievement and potential among the department's graduate students. Awarded to one student in each program.

Young Award ($300): Colleen Sloan Awarded to a clinical graduate student who best reflects Dr. Young’s tireless dedication to helping others through excellence in clinical work. Henry E. Adams Memorial Research Award ($600): Bonney Reed-Knight Awarded to a clinical graduate student whose research grant proposal best reflects a strong commitment to creative and quality research. Boardman, Forehand, Jackson Award ($500): Ashley Niehaus Awarded to a post-intern clinical student who best embodies the professional and personal characteristics of Dr. Bill Boardman. |
