PSYC 4850
DIRECTED READINGS IN PSYCHOLOGY

Grading: S/UThe purpose of PSYC 4850 is to give the psychology major an opportunity to read comprehensively in a particular content area under the direction of a faculty member.  You are to work solely with the sponsoring faculty member, and not with a graduate student.  You should see the faculty member an average at least one hour per week during the semester. In addition to the comprehensive review of the content area, you may be asked to write a paper.

The PSYC 4850 application is attached.  Please read it carefully, and then discuss the project with your prospective sponsoring faculty member and with you advisor.  Return the completed application to Michelle McFalls in Room 219 to be cleared for registration.

IMPORTANT:  At the end of the semester during which you are registered for this course, you must return the PSYC 4850 evaluation form.  Failure to do so will result in a grade of incomplete ("I").
