Certificate Programs
Designed to complement required courses for
majors in the College of Public Health, participating in the certificate
program can give students the advantage of a wider outlook and exposure
to other interests that, upon graduation, will make them more competitive
in the job market.
Requirements for the Certificate are flexible to allow for each student's
particular interests. Courses can be taken as part of the curriculum
for a specific major or as extra courses beyond those needed for the
degree.
The
College of Public Health offers a graduate certificate program under
the Institute of Gerontology. Completion of the curriculum requires a
total of eighteen semester hours of eligible graduate level courses.
