Roles and Responsibilities

Betty serves as the information resource, graduate coordinator’s assistant and administrative support for students, faculty, and staff in the Department of Health Promotion and Behavior. Her position requires managing all aspects of an academic department.

Betty came to The University of Georgia in December 1991. She worked in the Office of Graduate Admissions, first as a clerk and later as accounting assistant. After several years with Graduate Admissions, she transferred to the Graduate School Business Office which oversees the administration of graduate assistantships. Betty has been in the department of Health Promotion and Behavior since August of 2000.
