Applications are considered in their entirety before making admission decisions. In general, the following minimum test scores are recommended:
- Undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 0- to 4-point scale).
- GRE test score of 1000 for verbal and quantitative sections combined.
The application process to The University of Georgia requires two steps:

No paper materials will be provided.
- The applicant must apply to the Health Promotion and Behavior Department.

Application Deadlines
Admissions decisions will be made only on complete files. Students are usually admitted for fall term, and only under special circumstances they may be admitted for spring. Applicants should have all materials submitted to the graduate school and complete at least 6 weeks before the departmental deadline.
