Insurance Information
Verify
that you have health insurance coverage while studying abroad. If you
have purchased the ISIC card, you will have the benefits described
above. If you are attending a UGA study abroad (but not exchange)
program, you are automatically covered for overseas travel through the
UGA Study Abroad Insurance policy. If you are covered through your
parents' health insurance or have you own policy, check with the
insurance carrier to see if the coverage applies to your time abroad.
If you desire additional coverage, brochures on the UGA study abroad
insurance policy and other policies are available in the Study Abroad
Library in 203F Barrow Hall.
