Private financial support provides the margin of excellence that
distinguishes good universities from great ones. As the flagship
institution of the University System of Georgia and America’s
first publicly chartered university, UGA is proud to be a public
university. But direct public support accounts for less than 40
percent of UGA’s annual operating budget. Private gifts and
pledges from individuals, foundations, and corporations focus on
critical areas such as scholarships, endowed professorships, graduate
fellowships, international study for students and faculty, and research
facilities.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to make a financial
contribution to the Department of Health Promotion and Behavior.
You can make a secure credit card contribution online to the following account.
Health Promotion and Behavior Support Fund:
This account is used for the general support of the Department of
Health Promotion and Behavior. It shall include, but not be limited to,
supplies and equipment, faculty and staff development, travel and
entertainment.
Please contact Kate Lindsey, for more information.
