Master of Public Health (MPH)
The MPH degree requires a minimum of 45 semester credit hours, organized in the following areas: core public health courses (15 credits), concentration courses (12 credits), public health electives (12 credits), and public health internship (6 credits). To graduate, students must pass a final culminating competency exam.

Public Health Electives (12 hours)
Internship (6 hours)
The MPH internship program is based on public health competencies.
Students complete a 300 hour internship supervised by a public health
professional. The internship site and responsibilities are jointly
approved by the student, the academic advisor and the internship
coordinator. Students will complete a self-assessment of their proficiency
in general public health as well as concentration-specific competencies.
