Format
10 one-line, pyramidal questions followed by a 15 question worksheet. The last round will then be 10 multi-sentence tossups with bonuses. These bonuses will be bounce back, meaning that if one team misses a bonus, the other team will have an opportunity to answer. The distribution of categories is as follows:
- 4 Literature
- 4 Science
- 4 Social Studies
- 2 Fine Arts
- 2 Mythology/Religion
- 1 Current Event/World Affairs
- 1 Popular Culture
- 1 Math Computation
- 1 Social Science
Costs
The cost will be $60 for a school's first team and $40 for each additional team from a school. There are also $5 discounts for each buzzer system brought (up to a $10 discount) and a $5 discount for any reader or worker brought. A set of questions can also be purchased for $10. Lunch will be available to purchase in the interest of speeding up the tournament and a hospitality room will also be available for the coaches, workers, and any other adults.
