4/22/07 - Tournament At The Arch
UGA Quiz Bowl hosted its First Annual Tournament at the Arch Saturday April 21, 2007. We are pleased to announce that the winner was Brookwood A in a very close match against Dorman A. In their semifinal matches Brookwood A defeated Dorman B and Dorman A defeated James Island. For more results please see our Tournaments page, or click here.
2/26/07 - NAQT Nationals Invitations Announced
The UGA Quiz Bowl Team has learned that UGA B's performance at NAQT Sectionals has earned the team a bid for the Division II Intercollegiate Championship Tournament to be held at the University of Minnesota in April. This will mark UGA's eighth national championship appearance in the past nine years. Division II team members include Nick Rolader, Jon Okon, Colleen Cotton, and Steven Etheridge.
2/26/07 - CBI Regionals
At the College Bowl Region 6 Tournament held at Florida State University in Tallahassee, the UGA team amassed the most points per game of any team and was tied for the best record going into the playoffs. After defeating #1 seed Florida State, the team lost twice to #4 Florida in the finals for a second place finish. Team members included Michael Staley, Alex Rice, Nick Rolader, Steven Etheridge, and team captain Noah Mink, who was recognized as the tournament's most valuable player.
2/21/07 - Intramural Tournament
UGA Quiz Bowl hosted its Annual Campus Tournament this January with The Mariachi Crickets taking home the first place prize by defeating Phi Sigma Pi in the finals. We are proud to recognize the 20 teams of 66 students that competed. Special thanks to the Small Clubs Allocation Committee for funding this event, as well as tournament director Paul Ruddle and the club members who served as tournament staff. 2/16/07 - NAQT Sectionals
On February 10, 2007 the UGA Quiz Bowl Team sent three teams to NAQT Sectionals at UTC. Georgia A, which competed in Division I, finished 6th. Georgia B and Georgia C both competed in Division II, finishing 3rd and 7th respectively. For more results please see the Tournaments page, or click here.
1/29/07 - Spring High School Tournament

12/2/06 - Classic City Classic Results
We are happy to announce the winner of the first annual Classic City Classic High School Tournament is Dorman A, defeating Chattahoochee B in the final game of the playoffs. 11/12/06 - ACF Fall Results
On November 4, 2006 the UGA Quiz Bowl Team sent three teams to ACF Fall at Vanderbilt. These teams finished 3rd, 4th, and 12th. For more results please see the Tournaments page, or click here.
9/30/06 - Juniorbird Results
We are proud to announce the winners of the 2006 UGA Juniorbird is UGA Red, beating Wake Forest in a weighted final. UGA Silver beat Valencia A to finish in 3rd in a tiebreaker game.
8/1/06 - Practice Times and Future Tournaments
Starting August 21st and continuing throughout the Fall semester we will hold practices on Monday and Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 in room 145 of the Tate Center.
On August 19th, we will be attending the Muck Masters TRASH tournament at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. For more information about this tournament email Arlo Lyle at arlolyle@uga.edu.
On September 30th, we will be hosting the a Juniorbird college tournament open to teams whose members are in their first two years of collegiate competition. More information to come.
On December 2nd, we will be hosting a high school tournament. More information to come.
