Tour to focus on special collections

The special collections staff of the Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Libraries will lead a tour of the gallery spaces on July 2 at 2 p.m. Participants should meet in the second floor rotunda.

Take a dip in the Ramsey pool

The Ramsey Center pool is open regularly during the summer for recreational swimming. Pool hours are 6 a.m.-noon and 2-6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 6 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday; and 4-8 p.m. on Sunday. Hours might vary depending on other activities. Check recsports.uga.edu for current schedule.

GMOA exhibition highlights Ann Bonfoey Taylor
The Georgia Museum of Art exhibition "Fashion Independent: The Original Style of Ann Bonfoey Taylor," organized by Dennita Sewell, curator of fashion design at Phoenix Art Museum, showcases the custom-made wardrobe of day and evening wear that Ann Bonfoey Taylor assembled from the post-World War II era through the 1970s. It includes about 200 pieces designed by some of the most accomplished couturiers of the 20th century. The exhibition continues through Sept. 15.
