Eligibility, Grading and Credit

Credit: There will be classroom exams for the three courses. Participants who have successfully completed the program are eligible to receive four ABA hours of academic credit. Students are responsible for obtaining approval to transfer credit to their law school.
Grading:
The grading system will be that which is regularly used at the
University of Georgia School of Law. The examination will be
administered under the University of Georgia Honor Code.
Deadline: The deadline is May 15, 2009.
Tuition and Costs of the Georgia Summer Program in Brussels
Tuition and lodging:
Each student enrolled in the Georgia Program will pay $ 4,600 for class
instruction, educational materials, organized excursions in Belgium and
Luxembourg, tram cards for travel to and from the classes which are
held at the Institut d'EdudesEuropéennes (ULB), introductory
tour of Brussels, the Annual Dinner and other meals, coffee and snacks.
Lodging cost per student is 810 EUROS ($1,300) for 26 nights. Lodging is provided at
a modern hotel within walking distance of the ULB.
The full amount for participation in the Program for each student is $5,900.
Non-Georgia students will pay an additional $250 fee to the University
of Georgia. A $200 deposit is due upon submission of the application. Payment of the balance is due on May 22, 2009.
Other costs: Travel expenses to and from Brussels from the United States, the cost of food (approximately 20 to 25 EUROS per day) and incidental expenses.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellation that occurs after a deposit has been paid, the program director shall use his or her best efforts to make arrangements for each student enrolled to attend a similar program, if the student so desires. If the program is terminated, all money advanced by the student shall be refunded within twenty (20) days after the date of cancellation.
