Final payment (balance) due: April 30, 2008
Early enrollment is strongly encouraged (Enrollment is limited to 25 participants).
* Students who are not residents of Georgia or do not
attend a Georgia System University or College pay an additional
$250.00. This fee is charged in lieu of higher out-of-state tuition
rates, since "visiting" students participating in UGA study abroad
programs are charged in-state tuition rates rather than out-of-state
rates. If you have questions about whether you are a "visiting" student
for tuition purposes, please contact Andre Barbic, Assistant Director,
Dean Rusk Center at abarbic@uga.edu or 706.542.5141
Financial Aid
A number of students have obtained student loans through their own
home institutions. Please contact the financial aid office of
your school for further information.
Insurance
All participants will be covered by health insurance provided by T.W. Lord & Associates for the entire length of the program. The cost of insurance is included in the program fee.
Passports and Visas
In order to travel to the People's Republic of China (PRC) you must have a passport valid for a minimum of six months beyond your date of entry into the PRC. A visa is also required for entry into the PRC. Enrolled students will receive instructions for how to apply for a visa.
