The University’s Sexual Assault Referral Service provides guidance in obtaining services needed once the immediate medical requirements have been addressed. Call the Office for Violence Prevention, 706-542-7233 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

In actions involving allegations of sexual assault, both
the accuser and the accused are entitled to have others present during
the proceedings and both are informed of the outcome. Disciplinary sanctions
which may be imposed upon a student found in violation of University
conduct regulations are tailored to the facts and circumstances of the particular case;
