Faculty, staff, and students may sign up for Safe Space. There is no cost thanks to the support from Lambda Alliance, the UGA LGBT Resource Center, and the donated time of our facilitators. Follow the instructions below to sign up as an individual or as a department.

Individual Sign Up
General Safe Space trainings are offered throughout the year. These sessions are 3.5 hours in length and are facilitated by two trained instructors. Click here to register for an upcoming session.

Department Sign Up
Trainings are offered to individual departments on dates and times suitable to the needs of the members of said department. If you are interested in a Safe Space training for your department*, click here to fill out the registration form. Once the registration form is submitted, you will be contacted by a staff member to finalize all the training details.

*Please note that individuals should not be required to attend a Safe Space training. If you would like to set up an awareness/educational training on lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender issues for your department, please contact the Associate Director for Intercultural Affairs and Director of the LGBT Resource Center.
