Stormwater Management Tour
In 2005, SEEDS conducted its first stormwater management tour for alumni during alumni week. The tour visited several sites of importance on campus and discussed issues like porous pavement, conversion of impervious surfaces to pervious surfaces, and green roofs. We intend to offer the tour again in 2006--check back in late April for pictures and a comprehensive tour description. Eventually, we hope to make the tour available to any interested groups on campus. This activity is important because it identifies the many sustainability successes here on campus and highlights the many ways that sustainable designs can become reality.
