Visit the Commencement web page. Commencement Information Brochures are mailed to all candidates approximately one month before the ceremony. CLASS OF 2008:  All Seniors who make a donation to Senior Signature will have their names placed on the Senior Class Plaque in Tate Plaza. For more information, please call (706) 542-8249. The 2007 plaque is now closed and no additions may be made (the deadline is March 31, 2008 - regardless of graduation date - May, August or December 2008). *When and where are graduation gowns on sale? Honors tassels are worn by students who graduate with honors from UGA and can be purchased at the bookstore with your cap and gown. Honors designations are based on your final GPA: 3.5 to 3.7, Cum Laude 3.7 to 3.9, Magna Cum Laude 3.9 and better, Summa Cum Laude *How many people can I invite to Graduation? There is no limit on the number of people you can invite. No tickets are required. Relatives and friends should enter the stadium through gate 6, which is located on the southeast side of the stadium. Access through gate 10 (Lumpkin Street) will be restricted to graduates only. Gates 7 through 9 will not be open. Guests who are wheelchair-bound or who have physical limitations should use gate 6, which is located on the southeast side of the stadium. Questions regarding disability access should be directed to Carol at 706.542.2698. Off-street parking is available in numerous on-campus lots within convenient walking distance of Sanford Stadium. Please do not park on sidewalks, landscaped areas or on streets so as to block lanes of traffic. Improperly parked vehicles may be towed. *How do I register for Career Services? Visit the Career Services website and select the "Registration" button. It only takes a few minutes. *Will I still be able to use Career Services after I graduate? Yes, alumni registered with Career Services are entitled to use all services. *How do I get football tickets after graduation? Contact the Athletic Department Ticket Office at (706) 542-1231. *How can I be sure I have met all the requirements for graduation? Undergraduate students should check with the degree program specialist in the dean's office of their school or college.   *How can I change my expected graduation date? You can update/confirm the academic term in which you expect to complete your degree requirements via OASIS if you are nearing graduation. In this case, your Registration Main Menu will include “Check Degree Program/Graduation” as an option. After choosing this option, you can review your graduation data and select the academic term in which you expect to complete your degree requirements. *Are the graduation ceremonies taped and available for purchase? Unfortunately, no, the graduation ceremonies are NOT taped by the University and they are not available for purchase.
