There are six General Assembly Committees:

Academic Affairs Committee is responsible for dealing with matters concerning academic and instructional items and issues.

External Affairs Committee is responsible for dealing with matters concerning students in the local government, Athens community, and beyond.

Multicultural Affairs Committee is responsible for dealing with matters pertinent to the multicultural communities at the University of Georgia.

Advertising Committee is responsible for the positive advertisement and promotion focused on and for various publics here at UGA and beyond by discovering, defining, and articulating the roles, purposes, and activities taken on by SGA.

Student Life Committee is responsible for dealing with matters concerning non-academic and co-curricular items and issues. The Director of Athletic Affairs and Director of Community Service sit on this committee as well.
