• Cyber Seniors
  • This project is designed to reach out to the senior citizen community in Athens and nearby communities. Sessions involve UGA SIFE students working one-on-one with seniors, developing computer skills from word processing to web design and photo editing.
• Junior CEOs
  • The focus of this project is to educate Athens' youth on concepts of business and entrepreneurship. Past sessions have included games and activities designed to illustrate basic principles to children from kindergarten to fifth grade.
• StockDawgs
  • UGA SIFE members will be teaching high school students at Classic City Performance Learning Center about investments and the stock market. The students will participate in a 10-week stock market game in which they invest a hypothetical $100,000 and compete for various prizes.
• SIFE Training Conference
  • In 2006, UGA SIFE hosted the regional training event for SIFE teams from across the southeast. The event included speakers, catered meals, and training exercises.
• Annual Seminar Series
  • A new project for this year, speakers from all around will come to talk to UGA students and also the Athens community about such topics as identity theft, credit card awareness and investments.
• Refund Detectives
  • After a short training session, SIFE members will assist lower-income individuals in Athens with their tax returns, finding discounts and deductions for them.
