SLE Events

The purpose of our organization is to encourage and promote Latina/o youth to graduate high school with intentions of pursuing a college degree, to eliminate the borders that prevent them from socially, politically, and academically progressing. SLE has hosted a number of events that informed a myriad of people about culture, art, and activism of the Latina/o community in the United States. Education is the prominent reason for the SLE organization which has led us to implement Sigueme Shadow day and ¡Si, Se Puede! Youth conference among many others. We actively speak out on political and social issues that deeply impact the Latina/o community both on and off campus.
