The School of Public and International Affairs remains focused on advancing the public interest by preparing scholars and practitioners for careers in public service. You will find a vibrant community of scholars committed to teaching students and informing public policy through research.

The School is home to three academic departments-international affairs, political science, and public administration and policy. For those who desire to change the world, our academic programs provide a necessary component-quality education. For example, the Master of Public Administration and Policy degree program is recognized as one of the best in the nation, currently ranked third by U.S. News & World Report. Known throughout the University of Georgia for excellence in teaching, the faculty at the School of Public and International Affairs plays a crucial role in the success of our mission. Four of the faculty members have received the University's most prestigious teaching award, several have been selected for college-level teaching awards, and three have been recognized by the University's Honors Program. I encourage you to get to know our faculty.
