PUBLIC POLICY FELLOWSHIP

The Office of Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA) and the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at the University of Georgia invite applications from SPIA undergraduate and graduate students for the Public Policy Fellowship. 

What: A staff-fellowship position working on public policy issues.                           

Where: The Office of U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA), Washington, DC.

When: 2006 Fall Semester, August through November.

Stipend:  $1,500 per month.

Academic Credit: The fellow will be expected to pursue academic credit through directed readings or an independent project related to the work of the fellowship.   

Application: A letter of application, personal resume, official academic transcript, and list of three references should be sent not later than April 3, 2006 to the Office of the Dean, School of Public and International Affairs, The University of Georgia, 204 Candler Hall, Athens, GA 30602-1492.

Selection: Finalists for the fellowship will be interviewed on campus during the 2006 spring semester. The selected fellow will be notified not later than May 1, 2006.
