Roosevelt Institution’s UGA Chapter to present first Roosevelt Policy Symposium April 22
Athens, Ga. – The Roosevelt Institution, a national student think-tank with a chapter at UGA, will hold its annual Roosevelt Policy Symposium featuring Rep. Tom Price on Saturday, April 22, 4-6 p.m. in room 348 of the Student Learning Center. A reception in the reading room will follow. The symposium is open to all students, faculty and staff.
The Roosevelt Institution’s UGA chapter is a group of over thirty students, many of whom are pursuing degrees at UGA’s School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA). These students research, write and advocate public policy with the aim of influencing national policy to improve the status of the nation and world. The group is supported by UGA’s Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities, SPIA’s Center for International Trade and Security and UGA Libraries.
Members of the Roosevelt Institution will present their research and policy proposals relevant to pressing national issues to their peers and instructors during the symposium.
