Adriano Dr. Adriano's research interests include biogeochemistry of trace metals in the soil-plant system, source term - bioavailability - risk relationships, risk reduction and management in metal-contaminated sites, waste minimization and recycling, and natural attenuation of contaminants. He has published over 180 journal and proceedings articles and book chapters and edited or co-edited 12 books including Bioremediation of Contaminated Soils (1999 American Society of Agronomy Monog. no. 37). He has presented numerous lectures, seminars, and keynote addresses in the United States and abroad and recently spent his sabbatical leave (1998-99) as a distinguished guest professor at the Universität für Bodenkultur (Vienna, Austria) and Limburgs Universitair Centrum (Diepenbeek, Belgium).
