Bottleneck SimulatER 1.0 - beta
This program conducts the simulations described in Glenn et al. (Conservation Biology 1999, 13:1097-1107, see p.1104) to determine the "likelihood" of allele frequency changes in a population, simply due to the population's small size. I attempted to incorporate the information you really need into the program "header". Unfortunately, this was completed during the final phase of my dissertation, so small mistakes like the one in the first sentence "This program begins with a population with two alleles at frequencies than you must input." were in this crude documentation. In the dreamworld of "someday" [i.e., never], I'll go back, install CodeWarrior that works with the current OS on my Mac, fix this mistake and make more thorough documentation....
Happy Simulating,
