To date, 1.5 years of this 4-year study have been completed. Nine presentations have been given at professional scientific societies, and the following manuscripts are in preparation:

Southeastern sandhill ecosystem, community, and region: confused concepts. D. Imm, K. Madden, R. Sharitz, S. Harper, and B. Collins.
 
A survey of Fall Line pine-oak woodlands on three federal installations: comparisons of canopy and soil composition. K. Madden, D. Imm, S. Harper, R. Sharitz, and B. Collins.
