TEACHING

PBIO 8150 Wetlands Ecology
Although most of my time is devoted to research, I co-teach a graduate course in wetlands ecology with Dr. Darold Batzer of the Department of Entomology. The course objective is to describe wetlands and wetland processes from an ecological perspective, focusing on the functional roles of plants and animals. The course is three credit hours plus optional one credit hour laboratory based on field trips. It is taught alternate spring semesters (2007, 2009).

The textbook is Ecology of Freshwater and Estuarine Wetlands, 2006.
