| • | Begin detailed studies of selected bays with differing hydroperiods and water chemistry parameters, including measurement of Hg in water and sediment, and speciation studies to estimate relative methylation among bays. |

Several bays on SRS had been ditched and drained over 40 years ago for agriculture; these will soon be restored to their previous states. We plan studies as these refill to monitor changes in mercury and accumulation by biota. |
