Curriculum Vitae

Specialty is low-temperature and aqueous geochemistry with emphasis on the stable isotope systematics of elements that play key roles in biogeochemical processes. Research program includes:

1. Paleoclimate/Paleooceanography
2. Geomicrobiology
3. Isotope Geochemistry/Analytical Techniques
4. Meteoritics/Planetary Geochemistry
5. Environmental Geochemistry and Geology
6. Ecology
7. Education/Outreach
8. Kamchatka Microbial Observatory Project
Also, see Exploratorium
9. Nevada hot spring NSF: Microbial Interactions and Processes (MIP) study
10. Holocene Shell Accumulations from the Southeast Brazilian Bight: A collaborative NSF study

Research is primarily devoted to solving diverse problems in the ecological and environmental sciences. With the recent acquisition of an isotope ratio mass spectrometer system, a diverse suite of research opportunities is now available for study at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory.
