Green Treefrog
Hyla cinerea

The green treefrog is recognizable by its green color and well defined white or yellow stripes along each side, although stripes are not always present. They may also have small yellow or orange spots on their backs. Green treefrogs can inhabit nearly any southern wetland. In fact, impressive choruses can be heard even in roadside ditches during the spring and summer months. Their choruses sometimes have a cast of thousands and can seem almost deafening.
