Ornate Chorus Frog
Pseudacris ornata

The ornate chorus frog can be identified by its dark mask and broad black spots on its sides and groin. Its color ranges from reddish brown, to gray, to bright green, though the green morph is less common. Colors can also change within the individual. The mating call of the ornate chorus frog can be heard near small ponds or flooded areas during the winter and early spring months.
