Ongoing Collaborative Projects •  Evaluating the risk of invasive Burmese pythons (Python molurus) in the Southeastern United States by monitoring python overwinter survival, thermal biology, behaviour, and microhabitat use in a seminatural enclosure in the upper Coastal Plain of South Carolina. Whitfield Gibbons, USGS, National Park Service, University of Florida. •  Examining the role of prey availability, prey type, and environmental stochasticity on aquatic snakes at the level of the individual (growth, morphology, survivorship, and reproduction), population (sexual size dimorphism, juvenile recruitment, and population growth) and community (community structure, niche breadth, niche overlap).
