| Tracey Tuberville is an assistant research scientist at SREL. Her research focuses on the conservation and management of reptiles and amphibians, including the use of translocation and reintroduction as tools for managing rare species. She also is particularly interested in using data from long-term mark-recapture studies to better understand the ecology and life history of reptiles and amphibians -- especially turtles-- and using those data to inform management decisions. She also is custodian of SREL's ecological genetics lab, where her research interests include using microsatellite markers to understand behavior, movement patterns, and population dynamics of focal reptile and amphibian species. |
