Reference: Dalvé, 1948

Petraster speciosus (Miller & Dyer)
Occurrence: Arnheim, Waynesville, Liberty, Whitewater
Reference: Branstrator, 1975 (mention); Ausich, 1996
Characterized by short arms that grade into a poorly differentiated central disk; arms have a margin with large plates
