Subrounded to subelliptical shells, with marginal apex, concentric growth lines, and short spines. Note that the most recent Treatise (2000) lists the range of Schizambon as upper Middle Cambrian to Lower Ordovician, placing in doubt the assignment of this species to Schizambon.
