The data is in the strata
The Treatise (Benson et al., 1961) suggests that Entomis has been replaced by Entomozoe. This species was found in Dalvé (1948) as a species of Entomis. It is unknown whether it is indeed currently placed within Entomozoe, but it is doubtful, given that the Treatise lists Entomozoe as a Silurian to Permian form.
