Student Affairs Awards & Recognition Celebration

The Student Affairs Awards and Recognition Celebration will be Monday, May 19, 2008 at 8:15AM in the Memorial Hall Ballroom. The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs will recognize the truly outstanding individuals within the Division as well as recognizing those with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of service to the Division. Awards that will be given out include Unsung Hero Awards (individual - one per department), the Lee Ann Seawell Award for Service to Students (group and individual), and the Dwight Douglas Award for Service to the Division (group and individual).

Award nominations and data forms are now being accepted and must be submitted by April 7, 2008.

Please use the Award Nomination Form to learn more about each of the award categories and to nominate your collegues and co-workers for any of the awards you believe they should receive.

The Data Form should be filled out by all employees wishing to be recognized for any of the following:

Years of service
Retirement from UGA
Positions held in professional organizations
Teaching positions held
Publications acheived
