UGA Parents & Families Leadership Council
The Mission of the Council is to:
- Provide leadership for the UGA Parents & Families Association
- Provide support for the UGA Parents & Families Fund
- Administer the grant program by reviewing grant applications to, and making grant awards from, the Parents & Families Fund of the University of Georgia in support of students and student activities
- Promote the purposes of the UGA Parents & Families Association as follows:
- To enhance communication between parents and families and the University of Georgia
- To enrich the college experience for students, their parents and families
- To involve parents and families in campus and regional activities to promote the University of Georgia
- To financially support the UGA Parents & Families Fund
Membership Guidelines:
- Suggested membership terms are four years, or the period of time the members have enrolled undergraduate UGA students.
- An annual gift of $2500 to The Arch Foundation for the Parents and Families Fund is required for Council membership.
- The Council meets in the fall and spring of each year. Attendance at the Council meetings and other Parents and Families Association events is strongly encouraged.
