• Graduate Assistant Positions Available

Dear Graduate Assistantship Applicant:

Welcome to the Student Affairs website at the University of Georgia.  We are glad that you have visited our site and hope questions regarding graduate assistantships will be answered through this site or by other links accessible through the UGA homesite.

All graduate students, enrolled in any graduate program offered at the University, are eligible to apply for Student Affairs graduate assistantships.  Graduate assistants play a key role in helping the Division meet its mission of enhancing the learning environment for students at the University.  We accomplish this by stimulating the learning process, integrating the in-class and out-of-class experiences, promoting an environment conducive to growth and discovery, and facilitating intellectual, spiritual, social, occupational, physical, cultural, and emotional development.  As a graduate assistant, you will help serve students, provide programs and services, and develop and maintain important facilities.

We value and respect our employees and consider graduate assistants an important resource.  We are excited about your interest in the University of Georgia. Please contact the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (gradapps@uga.edu) if you have any questions regarding assistantships listed on our website.

Sincerely,
Rodney D. Bennett, Ed.D.
Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
