Student Employment on Campus
UGA students and Student Affairs staff work together to make this a great campus!
For example, you'll find students working as resident assistants in University Housing,
as lifeguards at the Ramsey Center, and as information desk assistants at the Tate Center.
Contact individual departments or check out the Career Center
for openings and more information.
Course and University Withdrawal Policy
Are you considering withdrawing from any or all of your classes? Learn the requirements and the consequences of withdrawing before and after the withdrawal deadline of the semester, and identify the people who can assist you.
Student Support Services reviews all individual course and university withdrawals occurring after the withdrawal deadline of the semester, as required by University policy. Contact Ms. Linda Edge for assistance and information at 706-542-8220 or email her at ledge@uga.edu. When emailing, please include your full name and your birth date.
Class Absences
Students should contact their instructor(s) by phone or email to advise them of an absence. Only your instructor can excuse your absence from class. Student Support Services does not excuse or verify class absences for any reason. With official documentation, Student Support Services will notify instructors of extended absences (two weeks or more) when a student is unable to do so. Contact Ms. Linda Edge for further assistance and clarification at 706-542-8220 or email her at ledge@uga.edu. When emailing, please include your full name and birth date.
