Academic Affairs Faculty Symposium
The Challenged University: Communication and
Collaboration in Good and Bad Times
Unicoi State Park and Conference Center - Helen, GA
March 27-28, 2009
The 2009 Academic Affairs Faculty Symposium examined challenges and opportunities for maintaining quality programs through synergy in adverse economic conditions. Participants explored how we interact within the University as individuals, departments, programs and colleges. Emphasis was placed on the role of communication and collaboration within and across departments, colleges, centers and institutes. Also, the University's relationship with the general public and public officials was examined. The Symposium created a forum for faculty to explore and develop synergistic relationships for good and bad times.
