I grew up going to church and spiritual things have always been important to me and my family.  When I was very young I felt the need to have God’s love and forgiveness in my life, so I trusted Christ as my Savior.  Throughout my junior high and high school years I grew somewhat as a Christian, but during my senior year in high school I began to trust Him with more areas of my life.  During my college years I have grown tremendously and experienced some awesome things with the Lord and baseball.  He has also helped me to deal with some trying times.  My junior year I struggled with my role as a closer, and did not achieve all that I had hoped.  Through this experience God has taught me many things and shown me how to lean on Him.  I am trusting that through those trials God will make me stronger for Him, and use me in a greater way for His glory.
