Museum to discuss Chessé works


Carissa DiCindio, curator of education, will have an Artful Conversation about selected works in the exhibition “Ralph Chessé” Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Georgia Museum of Art.

Legion Pool open reduced hours


Legion Pool offers water recreation for students, faculty, staff and guests. Hours of operation are 3-7 p.m. through Aug. 13. Admission is $3 for students, $4 for faculty and staff, $3 for children ages 3-15 (who must be accompanied by an adult) and $5 for guests and members of Friends of Campus Life.


Museum to hold late night party
The Georgia Museum of Art will hold its Museum Mix Aug. 6 from 8 p.m. to midnight. The party is the museum's thrice-annual late-night art party that features a DJ, free refreshments and all the galleries are open until midnight.
