Greg Keyes

Greg Keyes founded the team at UGA after learning how to play, and make sticks and balls, from the Conehatta Choctaw near Meridian, Mississippi. Greg teaches at the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing a PhD in anthropology. He specializes in belief systems and mythology. He was born in Mississippi and raised there and on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. He is also the author of the recently released novel (Del Rey Publishing) entitled The Waterborn and its sequel The Blackgod" under the Pen Name "J. Gregory Keyes".
