Summer Auxiliary Camp
Overview
The University of Georgia Summer Marching Band and Auxiliary Camp is a week of fun-filled instruction on the UGA campus. All twirlers, dancers, and colorguard members are invited to attend. From beginner to intermediate and advanced levels, the week-long camp offers classes to improve technique, learn new routines and make new friends. Here's a sampling of the classes offered:
Twirlers: All feature twirlers, majorette lines, competition (All-Stars) are invited
Twirler Classes: One, two, three, four baton, novelties, walk-over class, strut and solo, dance tirls and pep rally style routines; there is a half day session, everyday, for nationally competitive twirlers
Dance: All drill teams, dancelines, basketball dance groups are invited
Dance Classes: Jazz, kick, hiphop, poms, lyrical, technique and leap/turn classes
Flags: All flaglines/colorguard, winterguard members are invited
Flag classes: tall flag, swing flag, rifles, sabers, dance and body movement to work with equipment
All classes are offered at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels for all groups.
Coaches/Sponsors: An hour "Coaches Session" will be offered each day with information on: conducting auditions, team dynamics, fundraising ideas and more.

All participants should bring their own equipment, i.e. flags, batons, rifles, pompoms etc.

| Spirit Days and Showcases |
| Spirit Days and Showcases are fun opportunities for campers to show off talents and personalities. Participation is encouraged but not required. Prizes will be given to most spirited each day. Registration for each showcase will be held at camp check-in. |

Home Routine Night - groups are encouraged to perform a routine from home (football, studio, basketball game, etc.). Schools may have more than one group perform.

Talent Showcase - individual and/or small groups are encouraged to perform routines for their fellow campers

| Camp Store |
|
The camp store will be located downstairs in the dorm. Stop by and pick up a souvenir from camp including: t-shirts, shorts, hats, visors and more! The Camp Store accepts cash and checks.
