Holly Stephens
received her Bachelor of Music degree from Georgia State University with concentrations in Voice Performance and Music Education
 Holly has been a music educator for 16 years, working with students of all ages and skill levels through Kindermusik and early childhood programs, voice and piano lessons, vocal drama classes, musical summer camps, high school band, and church choir.  Though she enjoys teaching a variety of musical classes, Holly specializes in early childhood music education, vocal pedagogy and piano methodology for young beginners.  Over the last 9 years, she has taught as many as 350 students annually in early childhood vocal, piano and summer camp programs and has hosted more than 100 student performances and events

Holly has twice gained recognition as a “Kindermusik Maestro”, an honor awarded by Kindermusik International to the top 5 percent of Kindermusik programs around the world.  She continues to study early childhood development and pedagogy through professional development seminars, workshops, conventions and private study.   

In addition to teaching, Holly also enjoys performing as a professional vocalist, and has been a featured soloist in the Atlanta Opera and a member of the Atlanta Symphony Chorus.  She held the position of Staff Soloist at East Point Presbyterian Church for more than 12 years, and continues to perform as a classical and jazz vocalist for weddings and various special events.  

Holly lives in Athens with her 2 Jack Russell Terriers, Jack & Kaycee, and enjoys singing, painting, playing the piano and going to hear live music downtown.
